Why Meditate
There are not that many reasons why one would sit to meditate,
but the ways to describe it are endless.
Here are a few:
- Obtain quiet or inner peace
- Have a respit from the pace of daily life, a momentary pause from our daily lives.
- Collect and unify the mind
- Clear the mind from any emotional turmoil
- Find out what's true in your heart: Feel, experience the truth for yourself
- Learn lovingkindness and compassion for oneself and for others
- Understand and learn how to practice forgiveness
